As an advocate Michelle King is a senior advisor to the UN Foundation’s Girl Up Campaign and she leads their Next Level Leadership Development program.
In 2021 Michelle launched the 100 Actions for Equality campaign to encourage everyone to take action every day to advance equality.
On behalf of UN Women, in 2019 Michelle launched She Innovates, a global program that helps female innovators and entrepreneurs to defy gender barriers and turn their women-centered solutions into reality.
In partnership with Girl Up, the UN Foundation Campaign, and the Wealthiher Women’s Network we deliver the Next Level Leadership Program, a transformative virtual development program that enables and empowers the next generation of women leaders. Girl Up was founded by the UN Foundation in 2010 as an initiative to help support UN agencies that focus on adolescent girls.
Girl Up’s leadership development programs have impacted 75,000 girls through 4,000 Clubs in nearly 125 countries and all 50 U.S. states. We’re inspiring a generation of girls to be a force for gender equality and social change.
As part of the 2021 International Women’s Day we created 100 Actions that everyone can take to advance equality at work.
